Has combat arms changed?

Hey, so I was a big time CA hacker back in like 2008-2009. Back then, to my knowledge, if you were a "closet hacker" (only use hacks like chams, pretend to be legit) you could not be banned. It seemed like rather than any sort of anti-cheat banning hackers upon detection, Nexon only banned if they could see you hacking (aimbot, opk, etc).


So I've come back and its been a while, I was wondering if it is still like this? I just want to make sure before I start hacking again, as my account is a high rank with a lot of NX spent. I saw they have a new anti-hack program, and I wondered if people were actually being banned based on detected hacks.
