It happened to my iPhone the first time i did... It is a possibility it will slow it down... I dealt with a slow iphone for a year...
I recently re jb'ed it and its running smooth now.

Didn't have time to read through every post bug wanted tosubmit some (maybe already known) bugs.

I read somewhere that on androids if you reinstall the originall firmware you're still covered by your warranty

But I guess that's useless since i'm guessing from the terminology that you have an iphone.
