    Yo Christians

If God exists Why does he let everyone fight, kill and maim each other?
He sounds like the ideal man to look up to.
how man of you read the bible?
How many people did he kill?
How Many people did Satan Kill?
I saw a really good demotivational poster a while ago.
It showed a football player pointing to the sky after he scored a touchdown
    It was captioned with
God, because he's there to help you on the sportsfield but not fight for your country

So Can one of you Christians please answer my questions, that is all.

Reguardless of you opinion on religion, you have to admit that Christianity has good ideals for humanity to live by. Instead of focusing on what could never possibly (at least in our time) be fully understood. You should focus on the good that it brings to humans. Do you really care if other people believe in something that you don't?

At any rate, you have a right to not believe as much as they have a right to faith.

I am just questioning their beliefs, If they can't justify them then they obviously shouldn't be believing in it.

Divine intervention can not be proven or disproven. Who are you to question the faith of others? Who are you to say what you believe is right? This kind of thing is just as bad as someone pushing their religion onto some one else, and I respect you less for it.

Not only that, this thread has been made 1000s of times before this, and the results are always the same. No one can prove with %100 certainty that they're correct in reguards to divine intervention.

I am not trying to change their opinion, I just want to know the reasons of why the believe what they do.
I'm not saying their wrong however if they fail to answer my questions, are they only 'believing in god' to go to heaven?

I'm terrible at wording what I mean
I just want to know the reasons why God lets that all happen. If he cared enough to create US on THIS planet out of the billion others, shouldn't he care enough to stop us fighting etc?

I recently had a argument/discussion/debate with a Christian girl and I mentioned your point to her.
She replied with something along the lines of "God gave us free will, to see if we will choose to believe in him" Something along those lines.

Which is why she believe God doesnt help us, so we can help ourseleves, to believe in him. SOmeshit like that, i was playing MW3 at the time so I kinda zoned out.

All I want to know is why someone would believe in God If he hasn't done anything for 2000 years

You would have to get a better understanding of the Bible to get your answers,
because that's where they are. Also, this is the debate section not Ask.com.
Unless you have something to legitimately debate here this thread is pretty much pointless.

He gave us the will to defy him and he punishes us for it ... fancy.

With out a good ground knowledge of the religion you wouldn't be able to comprehend an explanation that i gave to you, simply because you don't have the understanding. I am not saying this to offend you, but just so you understand.

"Fear is the mother of morality?", as your avatar would say. Can't have religious/moral truths without some superimposed fear of not following them.

ya makes sense to me most of the values we follow are because of the consequences, we do most of our actions based on a preventative nature not a progressive one
though i think your agreeing not disagreeing
