Why is this in black ops section
It's for combat arms
Hey everyone!
I'm sure none of you really know me, as I am really only active in the Combat Arms NA section. I, along with many other great members of this forum, mod Combat Arms. I am also the leader of one of the most well known modding groups on MPGH- FSP, or Fail Sauce Productions.
We have been an active and thriving modding group for over 2 years now, and the only one to have actually stayed alive this long!
Basically what we do is have a bunch of the best modders in the section, and work together to advance techniques in modding, and give to the modding community. I know that the modding section here is primarily texture modding, and, to be honest, a little less developed than Combat Arms modding is. Not only do we have some awesome texture modders, we also now have the ability to add in custom models, take models from other games, edit via HEX and ModelEdit (ModelEdit is a program that is used to edit models and animations of the game), and much more! But don't just listen to me; take a look at some of these awesome mods!
We can also do things like Hex editing, which can change the size of the gun, the fire rate, and countless other things!
We have the tools we need to mod almost anything in the game, and you can be part of it too!
We are also looking to expand to modding CoD games as well. Right now we can mod Black Ops and Mw2, and once Mw3 becomes more easily modable, we will be expanding their as well.
So if you want to be a part of one of the most well known modding teams on MPGH, join up! No real modding experience is necessary, as long as you are active and contribute! Right now we are working on a huge project to help out the CA modding community, and we would really love your help!
If you want to apply, simply post a reply in this format;
Code:Name: Age: Activity: What you mod, if anything: An example of your mods (if you don't mod, leave blank):
Once you get accepted, I will VM you and add you to the group.
If you have any questions, feel free to message me!

Question ALL statements! ?You're in denial that you're in denial. ?
those look horrible compared to what most can do texture-wise to call of duty
My Specs:

3kBts of Intel(R) 1103 DRAM
Trinitron 9" @ 320x240 in 8 bit color
The Real ones:
Intel(R) Core 2 Extreme series QX9650
AsusTek Maximus Formula X-38 motherboard
2x EVGA Nvidia Geforce GTX 285 in SLI
Patriot Memory 128GB SSD for primary
Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD
4x 2GB Patriot Memory DDR2-1200MHz
Apple Cinematic Display - 27" @2560x1440 @120hz; minidisplay to dual link dvi
I can see actually replacing a camo for a texture can be fishy, as the alignment is different per weapon, so if one wanted something weapon-specific, work would be done to the original weapon file
(I'm also an art major, and I'm more into realism, so spite could come from that too :P)

I thought that was hilarious about the COD mods being superior. I mean, at least selectively overlay. I have a ton of texture mods for MW, WaW, MW2, BO, and MW3, but I have serious problems with the fixer and hex editing. If you compare a single COD dds to a CA dtx you'll notice that COD designers are lazy. Compared to the quality of the CA textures I can't believe that they don't turn out awful. I don't mean to hate, or judge these two games because they are absolutely nothing alike.
