PunkBuster/G1 Ban info

does punkbuster or g1 ban affect only accounts, or they ban your hardware id ?

if they ban accounts, do you can register a new account to be un-banned ?

1. It is widely speculated that G1 ban IP, thus all accounts made, or log in by an IP after it has been detected will automatically get ban

2. You can never, EVER get un-banned in this game, as of now. Unless you can get to their forum, PM one of the staff to get their attention and convince them that you got banned unfairly. If you created a new account, it's not your banned account, thus does not get you "un-banned"

NOTE: all of the information above are purely my speculation so far, probably better to wait for others' input on the matter if you want to be clear.

So... if i want to test an hack, i can : create a new account, than if they ban it i need to change ip and create a new one, true ?

You don't need to,b ut it's better to start out fresh: this way if someone mails them saying "OMFG HAXXOR" , you don't get insta-banned.
They will look into it a bit.
