Hey, whenever I try to launch I get the Mojang screen, but then after that I get just a brown background screen. Is anyone else getting this problem? If so, can you please help with any solutions. Thanks in advanced.

I would just delete the hole .minecraft and click force updtae than It should work

It's not working for me as well. I'm running Minecraft 1.1.0. I've tried deleting the whole .minecraft and forcing an update so it re-downloads everything, it didn't work. I've tried both replacing the minecraft.jar with the client jar and copying the files inside the nodus jar into minecraft.jar and replacing the duplicates. Nothing helped. Any ideas?

I did everything you told me to do.
-I deleted the whole .minecraft folder and forced update (it finished and i saw version 1.1.0 left-under)
-I deleted minecraft.jar, and noticed there was no minecraft1.1.jar, so didnt have to delete it.
-I renamed Nodus to minecraft.jar and put it in the bin
-I then started minecraft and no update happened.

I just get a brown background, then after 5-10 seconds i get black background.
Just nothing.
It isn't because i use windows 7 because i have tried compatibility mode windows xp sp3.
What to do?

There is a new update, and all blackscreens are because that update from drop-box. Drop-box blocked link to this update, and it will unlock fortunately in 3 days. That's why client won't work. But, can anyone send link from hack-forums, i think developer load this on any other file hosting (Sorry for english, i'm bad at this)

MY GAME FROZE WHEN IT UPDATED WHAT DO I DO, SORRY ABOUT ALL CAPS I CANT FIX IT
