...Javelins only lock on to GROUND vehicles, it can only lock on to aircraft if there someone using the laser designator wich hardly anyone uses, very rarely...I think you meant the SA-18 IGLA (russian) or the FIM-92 Stinger (U.S) rocket launchers...
