Dead Silence Pro number (for secondary)

So i want the perk dead silence pro on my secondary. I only found out what dead silence was and its 8. I changed my perks to dead silence pro to see what the number was and it gave me 8. I then set my secondary weapon slot to 8 and it was not dead silence pro only normal dead silence
