    This is what I think:

    1) I don't like Macs because most programs can't run on it (unless you have Windows installed)
    2) I like Macs because of their sleek design.
    3) I don't like Macs because people (generally) who have them show them off like they're superior to others.
    4) I like Macs because of their sexy UI.
    5) I don't like Macs because (as stated in several posts) they are pricey.
    6) I like Macs because they boot up faster then Windows (most of the time)
    7) I don't like Macs because Mac users claim that Mac OS is uninfectable with a virus (which SERIOUSLY annoys me)
    8) I like Macs because they have a glowing Apple sign on the cover (idk why I just love it)
    9) I don't like Macs because they don't give you as much control over things as Windows does. (I.e universal uninstaller, make folders while opening a file)

And that's all the reasons I like/don't like about Mac so far.

Because there is no 'better' OS.
That's subjective. You use what's best

Like I said, if you like Linux, you go with Linux but not eveyone may agree with you. Each got different opinions...

That's fine and dandy but this thread isn't just focused on Operating systems..read the OP sometime.

Here's my opinion that no one has yet been able to disagree with:

On the level of hardware (FORGETTING THE OS FOR A SECOND, THEY'RE DIFFERENT THINGS)...
Macs are overpriced. If you take a MacBook pro and rip all the components out of it, and buy hardware with the exact same specifications TO THE POINT, you'll pay far less.
The keyboard has some impracticality to it. This is coming from someone who has used both to the point of comfort.

In terms of the OS, I think it's stable, it's reliable, and it's simple. OS is a matter of preference. I've used Windows since I can remember, but I also like the power behind UNIX-based systems (if you don't know what that means, like you can't ACTUALLY comprehend it...don't reply); that's why I have Ubuntu on another partition.

However, the above things don't necessarily bother me because I can completely control all of those things. My hardware, OS, etc. are all my choice. What other people want to do is up to them.

But what I do sincerely hate, and this is the ONLY thing I hate, is the culture that has wrapped itself around Macs.
To start, the people that work at Apple retailers. They know nothing about computers. They're just told to sell.
Go in and ask them what kind of graphics card the Mac of your choice has. I dare you. I've done this.
Then there's the cliches, and most of them are minor except the one with variations such as "They don't get viruses." This is especially irritating when a friend says to me, "Facebook says someone logged into my profile from Japan." I ask if they've run a virus scan for the multitude of things that could lead to this, and they respond with the aforementioned cliche.
I then proceed to find the virus on their computer.
It's not impossible to infect a Mac. The most common virus changes the DNS to allow downloads from sites that host malicious content. Google it.
But since more people own a computer with Windows on it, it's easier to spread a virus to them.

    Lastly, about that picture.
    Google "Hackintosh".
I have never moved a file and had to reinstall anything because I don't just go fuck with shit I don't understand.
Typography is a minor detail that isn't even a solid argument.
Colors and display rely almost entirely on your GPU and your monitor.
For speed, I've seen Windows boot from a SSD in 8 seconds. YouTube it. The OS is far less important speed-wise when you can customize hardware (which as we all know, with Macs, you virtually CAN'T).

These are all facts. No bias, no exaggeration, no bullshit.

If you deny ANY of this, you are an ignorant 4-year old who stands on no ground to make this argument.

According to that image posted, the idea I got is that it was implying if you move program files or system folders that mac doesnt give a shit.. yea whatever. Exactly what Ryan said in the above quote "don't just go fuck with shit".

You can move a program file/folder anywhere on the hard drive and it won't crash. Macs also update shortcuts (icons) that you had pointed to that program.
If you a program file or folder anywhere, you might end up having to completely re-install the software, and it might make Windows quit working altogether.
You don't move program files - they are installed where they are installed for a reason. Likewise, you don't move system/OS files or folders - Windows sort of needs them!

Although it would be nice for Windows to update shortcuts, it shouldn't have to. You don't move program files and folders on a computer.
