List I made when I was bored between episodes while watching S2: [Pardon the obnoxious sarcasm, this is meant for teh lulz]

1. Guarding prisoners? Guarding treasures? Who's ever done that?
2. Yea, I get struck by lightning and start bleeding profusely from my chest for no reason. Also, my hair and clothes are still perfect, even by the wound.
3. Doing a background check on someone we hire for an important task? Why would we do that?
4. I can learn to sword fight in a single night, then get beat up and not sleep and the next morning hold my own against a master.
5. Apparently you need to know hand to hand combat because you might lose your wand. We're just going to ignore the fact that it'd be easier to lose a sword or gun than a wand.
6. My entire nation's military consists of 20 people and a few school kids. Not to mention we have fucking guns.
7. Apparently no one has ever heard of japan yet there are other normal countries such as Romania.
8. Not only is the supposedly smart princess a big enough idiot not to realize the prince she was following wasn't the real one after he calmly brushes away ice being shot through his chest, she apparently doesn't give a damn that he was killed by her friend as she talks to her later the next day normally.
9. Since when has an invasion and war been a single ship vs 20 men.
10. Who needs a military when you have school kids!
11. I thought the only boy who wanted to so the military was the idiot blonde? Yet apparently 15 boys can appear out of thin air in his class to join him.
12. Where the hell is anyone from any other class year at school?
13. Everyone who can't use magic is a peasant yet the gunpowder squad does most of the important duties such as searching for thieves and training people for battle.
14. Stand in a ball of flames for 15 seconds and then jump out and stab a man without a scratch on you or your clothes? All day, every day.
15. Because a boiling is old it MUST be filled with traps, it's not like the people who built it had anything better to do.
16. Why would documents from 20 years ago be in a library that hasn't been touches in hundreds? (If you want to hide evidence, destroy them!)
17. You can only read at the speed you can speak and god forbid skipping to the information you actually need. Because someone used magic in the library (despite the fact that the magic may be beneficial), no one can ever return.
18. Someone tore a page in the book they were looking at yet the library still had an entrance bridge.
19. How strategic! Because there are too many enemies at the port we need to capture let's attack an unrelated school!
20. Let's train by cutting bundles of wheat in half with swords! It'll show how much better we've gotten in the week we've been training. Even though we show such improvement in the skills peasants should be doing (because we are fucking mages for gods sake), the instructors expect is to be master marksmen and sword fighters.
21. The gunpowder squad ia supposed to be protecting the queen yet they have enough time to sit around training kids.
22. Episode 4 S2, sex in a boat? Really?
23. What is the point of having guns if you never shoot them.
24. What the hell is Void magic, it's never explained.
25. Apparently Albion has an army of 7 million yet they were defeated earlier by 500 platoons, roughly 16 thousand soldiers.
26. Oh please, a magical fairy that brings the good guys back to life after they die? Nice and convenient.

Look you ( of all people lol ) are trying to find realism in a show that revolves around magic. Not only THAT, its a comedy romance. Its not serious in the least bit.

I could find a bajillion unrealistic/inconsistencies in shakugan, but yah know i kinda realize that shows involving loli magic REALLY don't need to be looked into for consistencies. Especially the ones who's entire plot is a comedy/romance.

I "like" zero no tsukiama about as much as I like any other comedy romance. Nothing special nothing horrible. Just mediocre. Though i am deffinitely checking out Final.

Next i'll be seeing a thread on how sengoku basara isn't realistic.

i actually like shakugan no shana and zero no tsukaima , but i liked the previous seasons more
