ooking for a video editor/good sound design

Hello,

I am currently the founder of a group who have started producing small machinimas in BF3. We have about 77 members and are still growing. I have chosen to take a cinematic approach to filming our short scene and its coming along well. My/our goal it to try and film a new shot machinima each weekend/every other week and edit it over the week. With the large amount of actor we have almost any scene someone can think of we can accomplish. We draw up story boards and scripts too. We have several members capture footage from the scene then upload it to a rappid share account were all the members can look at the footage from all angles.

The only problem with this is is I am no expert, when it comes to after effects and sony vegas. I have some experience in after effects but, to get the effect I want it would take me 4x as long to teach myself how to do it rather than finding someone who can do it quickly. I work full time and take classes at night so I dont have hours to spend editing video.

Thats why I am currently looking for someone who knows the in and outs of After effects and can within a reasonable amount of time edit together the footage with the help of me or someone else.

What could you get if you decide to join? I dont have much money but if I like your work I could probably send you some money. You would also get leaders status for the platoon, if you have BF3. You could also upload the video to your youtube channel since we dont have a assigned youtube channel ATM.


The Quality and sound desgn I am looking for would be similar to this.

If you look at the battlog link it gives you a link to out platoon which has tons of info on stuff we have done/currently are working on. Including the first 30 seconds of a rough edit I did for the video. I am by no means trying to be rude. Did you even read the full post? Based on your post, it sounds like you just watched the video and skimmed threw what I have written.

I did not 'skimmed threw' your post, because I do not believe your content may be as good as the 'No Russian' video.
The video features the MW3 campaign with music and from different perspectives.

-character acting, your actions are limited to what you can do, the person(s) acting may not be smooth, and I advise not to show first person views
with your clan members. The MW3 campaign uses motion shit and shit.

-voice acting, this will be difficult, as BF3 voices are limited you must rely on your clan members, testing must be done. I expect you
want your voices to be clear, blended and rough, as soldiers are.

-storyline

This forum will not be the best place to ask, I am not up for the job, and you will not get many offers. Maybe a website which specialises
in video editing / etc ?

Forgive me but you seem to be very rude, and immature about your response.

I think you might have misunderstood my post yet again. I am not trying to replicate the video, I am trying to replicate the quality. I will not have any-voice acting in my video to my knowledge as I don't have a recording studio and anything less than that would be of poor quality. You also seem to have tried to answer questions to things I never asked or even thought of asking. You have never even seem all my footage? How do you know what the quality is?

You go onto explain whats in the video and how he shot it. Where did you get I was in a clan? I have never been in a "Clan" and for you to assume that is silly. You seem to assume alto of things. I am sure your going to get far in life if you keep your rude, and condescending attitude.

This is not a debate, I don't want to or expect a response.
