whenever i put it to go to main folder, it gets extracted onto my desktop....? what is wrong

::::i also tried a different folder that was on my desktop, still went to the raw screen , not into the folder

This is a texture hack. It doesn't doesn't know which team you are on. It just colours the teams.

Ugh. not working for me on teknomw3, it should though. I just use the installer with my pre-defined settings and after about 5 mins of installing, nothing in game is coloured, just normal. Help? It creates 2 folders, 1 called MC which contains all of the installed data which should be in game folder and one called import which is empty. Help.

Take notice.

The new patch version of MW3 will now make your game not respond while using textures. It forces you to verify the integrity of game cache in order to play. I believe this texture hack will need to update to compensate.

Can anyone else verify this?

Info on what happened:

1.) it updated to the new patch,
2.) game says not responding when I try to play
3.) verified the game cache
4.)I was able to play
5.) re-installed textures
6.) same problem again.

I did this 6 times today and each time I got the same result. Has using chromatix been patched?

And no I am not a noob at this so take this as good feedback. I have been successfully been using chromatix since it came out with no problems. So a friendly heads up. MW3 Versions 1.9.461 and 1.9.453 (yes I changed the versions to see which ones would work and which wouldn't) Before these versions there were no problems after installing the textures.

euhm, no its not patched, i got the latest version, installed it and works perfectly? and i got the steam version btw...

The update may have not hit your local servers yet.

Because of the new update to version 1.9.461 it might necessary to delete your apcache folder and then delete your folder where the tool keeps your backups and textures that were applied. Then play the game first without the textures applied then exit out and reinstall the textures. I am trying that right now and I will post if it fixed anything with the new version of the game.

edit after: This worked to play the game without using the textures.

After I reinstalled the textures the game started not to respond again. I believe 1.9.461 has patched this. Unless someone else can figure out what is going on please share your info!

It's just awesome, my installer worked just good. Notice that there is one for Windows XP and another one for other OS.

does it work with Fourdeltaone? i try to point the file to MW3 patch, but it still doesn't file the iwi file, and it extracted all the files to desktop, what is wrong with it?
