Yes, works with no problem in mw2. However, in mw3 easier to get banned.

So this works very well and is a huge help, but doesn't really work like the OP makes it look like.
It DOESN'T make your enemies red and your allies cyan. It makes one faction red and the other faction cyan, and that's constant no matter what team you're on. So basically your allies will be red half the time. Now this really isn't a problem on its own (I myself prefer shooting at the cyan targets), but it makes using a texturebot/colorbot completely impossible because half the time you'll end up with it shooting at your allies, and there's no way of knowing which color you'll be that round until you look.

Overall great hack and you have my thanks for it, but to all reading this it won't work with any color-based aimbots and is rather simple in operation.

How do you even put the IWI files into the IWD? It just copys it into the whole folder without going anywhere.

You have to put it into the .iwd file.
Just upon the .iwd like an archive, there's no difference between a .iwd and a .rar file.

Yeah, I figured out I didn't know that you had to OPEN WITH winrar. Works well, even with SP xD

Yea, you can't get banned for replacing textures, as far as I know.

Extract it where you will be able to find it and then copy the files from iw_00 to iw_00.iwd, files from iw_01 to iw_01.iwd, etc.

You need to put them in the images folder. It works.
