    * Your FIRST priority in CTF is the flag. If you are worried about your K/D, then go play Elimination or something... Anyways, if you don't feel like running after the flag, STAY and GUARD your team's flag.
    * If the other team grabs your flag, make sure to CHASE them. Don't stand around and hunt enemies for kills. The flag is always your main priority.
    * If there is a loose flag, RUN for it. It doesn't matter if its yours or the enemies. If its the enemies you may score a point for your team. If its your flag, you get a recovery point.
    * If you have the enemy's flag, but your flag is taken, hide and wait for your teammates to recover your flag.
    * Use smoke grenades. They are very helpful when rushing for the enemies flag. Toss one near the enemies flag stand for some great cover. Make sure to wait a second or two after you throw it, because of the slight delay before the smoke comes out. However, Make sure NOT to smoke your own base. This just gives the enemy free cover. Also, try to keep watch for grenades thrown into the smoke - they're pretty hard to see.
    Please note that the use of smoke grenades is controversial. It does gives you cover to run in and grab the flag, but then after that you have a flag icon above your head. This causes you to be unable to see any enemies, but they all know where you are. Plus, any nearby teammates can't provide cover fire since your smoke is blocking any line of sight they would have had. If the other team knows what they are doing, they can just kill you through the smoke and recover the flag.
    * Use mines.* Mine your own flags base. Place them all around your flag. When the enemy rushes for your flag, they will likely be killed or seriously injured because of mines. Be careful not to step on your own mines - they will kill you and maybe your teammates (if friendly fire is on).

    * Keep your cross hair around head level while traveling along fat ground.
    * Wear a headset; hearing footsteps can be quite helpful.
    * If a teammate runs out in front of you while you are firing at an enemy, keep on shooting (if Friendly Fire is off). Bullets will travel through your teammates as well as enemies.
    * Find a higher place so you can see where enemies come from. Most players don't bother checking higher places if they are on ground level.
    * Here is a simple one: user cover!
    * Don't spend very much time in high traffic areas. Enemy players are bound to throw a grenade there eventually. Spawn exit points are a prime example.
    * Find "peak holes". You will find them on various maps and they can be very helpful. Junk Flea for example has many holes that can give you a few seconds head start.
    Tanks are cone shaped at the ends, kind of like this: <[_____]>
    You can look under (or above) those pointed edges and shoot peoples feet as they are running around, before they even have a chance to see you!
    * If you have low health don't be afraid to camp or snipe and get another kill or so before you die. This is good for Elimination rounds as well as your K/D ratio.
    * Don't be afraid to camp, but don't do it too often. You will be noticed for returning to the same spot repeatedly and it's not good practice.
    * Combat Arms has a built in mouse sensitivity changer. Play with the controls until you find the sensitivity level that works right for you.
    * Being more aware of the maps, camping locations, and just being farmiliar with game ticks will help you out a lot. Don't just camp and wait, but don't just run around firing like mad either.
    * Keep your talking limited. You may noticed lots of players who aren't too great at the game, and you will also notice how they are the only ones talking. If you need to talk to teammates, use a voice client.

    * When playing One Man Army, never stop moving unless it is to fight. Players are always spawning near you.
    * When playing CTF, if you switch to grenade, pistol, or melee, you move faster than normal. This is especially helpful if you are the flag carrier.
    * Guns with great accuracy aren't necessary important for this map becuase it is all close-quarters.
    * Hackers tend to play this map more than most others. Be wary of hackers when playing Junk Flea.
    * Many clan matches use the Junk Flea map on Elimination or CFT. It is good practice to just play it for fun.
    * Rocket launchers can be very useful on this map, but they do take awhile to reload. Be sure you move before your target can retaliate.
    * In clan matches when Friendly Fire is activated, be careful of your teammates. It is a close-quarters map and it is easy to accidentally harm a friendly target.
    * There are many stairways on this map. Players like to camp on the edges of stairs and shoot players as they try to go up or down the stairway.
    * Because Junk Flea is so popular, don't wait for the game lobby to fill up before starting. The match will fill up on it's own if you just start.

    Strategies

    There are many strategies for this map. Most of them depend on the game type and your weapon.

    * Rush and Retreat
    This is the favorite strategies for players with rapid-fire guns like the Mac 10 and UMP. You will be killed fairly fast if you don't move quick enough when you're out of ammo. Switch to pistol/knife to retreat to allow yourself to move faster.
    * Camping
    Camping can be a useful strategy, too. As long as you don't remain in a single play for a long period of time, you can rack up a lot of kills. This works great in CTF, but it doesn't work at all in One Man Army.
    * Sniping
    Sniping isn't the most useful on this map due to the limited amount of areas. Most of them are at ground level. Both the Bravo and Alpha bases have a balcony area to snipe from, but most players are well aware of them and take out snipers quickly. There are also a few sniping areas in the corners of the map at ground level.
    * Team Up and Fight
    Simply put, team up with another player in One Man Army and cover each others back. This can drastically boost both of your scores. In CTF, having a buddy help you carry the flag to the base can be helpful, too.
    * Plant Explosives
    Planting mines can be very useful on this map. There is only so much ground players can travel on, if you can lay mines in the heavy traffic areas you are bound to get some kills. Planting them in doorways or near flags can prove useful. The only downfall is that you can blow up your teammates too!

    Special Areas

    * Storage Container Crack
    In the middle of two storage containers just outside of Alpha base, there is an opening. Simply walk in, and you are hidden from sight. You can camp here, but only for a short period of time or you will be discovered.
    * Broken Crane Tower
    This is a little tricky the first time you try to do it. Right across from the Storage Container Crack is a broken tower that is outside of the map slightly. If you stand on top of the storage container next to it, you can jump onto the lip of a beam. This places you high above the map, and you can easily snipe passing players.
    * Ledge Jump
    This is pretty easy to do, but is only useful if you are on Alpha. Run through the tunnel in the middle of the map, and you can leap to to the overhang on the Bravo base. You must be sprinting in order to make the jump. This can be useful when handling snipers and in CTF.

    pump jack

    A medium sized map with two stories of map. Plenty of obstacles, barriers, sniping places to keep the game play alive. You can snipe camp d close range to long range combat, you can really do everything on this map. On the upstairs portion you can really have a standoff, you can camp and pull out your sniper and kill many people without dieing. There are many spots where you can watch enemies without being seen such as in storage carts on the trains. Just before the bravo base there is a pile of boxes were you can stand off and fight while your teammates come up from behind through the upstairs. There are many ways to fight and this makes action easy to find, but you can also sneak up and assassinate large groups of them with a grenade. Pump jack is not played much anymore but it is very easy to start a game. Pump jack is a very fun map and it Is my favorite as it is with many others so I hope my guide helps you guys.

    Map Tips

    * This is a great map for Sniper Rifles, but avoid bolt-action rifles on this map. You're bound to be killed be other players if you pause too long.
    * Mines can be quite useful on this map if you plant them near known camping spots.
    * Smoke Grenades are also useful here; they can help you sneak around to enemies or into camping locations.
    * Close-Range guns like the Mac-10 are not very useful on this map becuase they are inaccurate. This is probably considered a medium range map.
    * One Man Army takes longer to play on this map becuase the map is larger and there are more places to hide.
    * In One Man Army, Sniper Rifles are not recommended. This makes you move slower and more noticeable.
    * In Capture the Flag, you can easily sneak around without being seen. There are many obstacles, hiding and camping spots.
    * When you are playing Elimination, you can camp in a single spot and kill people as they travel by. Be sure to move from your spot shortly after killing a small group.

    Strategies

    There are many strategies for this map. Most of them depend on the game type, weapons and equipment.

    * Rush and Retreat
    Most players use this strategy when playing Pump Jack becuase it's quite useful. You can be killed easily if you don't move fast enough. So, when you are retreating, switch to a pistol or knife to move faster.
    * Camping
    Camping can be very useful on this map and there are many locations to camp at. The only problem is you need to move often so the enemy doesn't know your location. This is mainly used on OMA and CTF.
    * Sniping
    This is a very easy map for Sniping. It is very useful in Elimination and CTF, but not OMA. Just be sure to move around and don't stand still!
    * Teaming Up
    This can be very effective, but is likely to start some trash talking from the other team. Get a group of friends, and attack the enemies from behind or near their spawn.
    * Planting
    Buy some mines and equip them to your backpack. Simply plant the mines in camping locations, doorways, and heavily traveled areas. The only downfall is that your teammates can set off these mines too.
    * Rushing
    Another widely used strategy, Rushing is when you storm the other players in the middle of combat and take them out quickly without stopping.
    * Kamikaze
    Similar to Rushing, but almost guarantees your death. Simply Rush into an area full of enemies, take out as many as you can and drop grenades as your are moving to take any anyone who chases you.
    * Juggernaut
    Grab a high powered gun like UMP, G36E, Sniper Rifles and Rocket Launchers as well Heavy Vest, Gas Masks, Helmets and Larger Backpack and simply tank the enemies.
    * Sprinting
    Get a Light Vest, Military Bandanna (or something similar) and light weight weapons. Move fast and never stop, taking out enemies as you run around.

    Special Areas

    * Tunnels
    In the tunnels where the trains came through, you can sneak up behind enemies and kill them quite easily.
    * Upstairs Boxes
    On the upper level of this map, there are many holes and boxes to snipe behind. You can peer down a corridor and shoot people as the come to you.
    * Storage Containers
    You can go inside most of the train storage containers. You can snipe people as the come out of their base as long as you don't make your self too noticeable. Note: Players can shoot through the wood on the trains.
    * Stair Ways
    You can also camp, plant mines, or throw grenades down stair cases to get quite a few kills. Lots of people use the staircases.

    Weapon Recommendations

    Close range weapons can be useful, but Pump Jack is a medium-long range map. You shouldn't use SMGs here.

    Medium Range

    * G36E: A good gun for mowing down people as you go.
    * AK-47: A fast firing gun with decent accuracy, and it also does a good amount of damage.
    * MK-16 Scar-L: A very good gun, it's high powered and quite accurate.

    Long Range

    * MSG-90: A good long range rifle. You can keep firing up to 10 bullets without leaving the scope view.
    * M24: A powerful 1-hit-kill on well placed shots.
    * SR25: Has as much power as the MSG-90, but with a higher firerate.

    junk flea

    Junk Flea a thrilling small map perfect for close range combat. Junk Flea more commonly used for one man army than any other map. There are no real good sniping spots, so it is not recommended you try. There are many obstacles on the map so you really can’t go strait to the other guys base. there multiple spots where you can sit and shoot at the others teams while there leaving there base. There are really only 2 levels of height on the map, The top level containing the upstairs of the bases and the tunnel in the middle of the map. The bottom level is where most the fighting happens. Overall this map is a exhilarating fast paced thrilling map.
