Got VAC banned, have a question.

Hey guys, yes i received the same banning, the day i started steam and it updated to v1.5.387, i can only play Spec ops mp now. sucks ass, i will be more careful of hacking in the future

Yeah i can still play single player, and spec ops, both survival mode & missions, but Multiplayer, even on unsercured Vac servers is a no go

wouldn't have this problem if you hacked. newayz as mentioned above you have to buy a new game inorder to play again with a different steam account

Usually you'll get a cracked client eventually and can log in on another account with that, for free. It's hard to keep up to date though. I did this with MW2 after I got banned, and this also allows you to use the server console in public games (as host) and alter gravity and such.

Aside from this, there is no reasonable way to get back into the multiplayer content without a fresh game purchase.

Valve is all about screwing you over, that's why they refuse to remove VAC bans and stuff. Have fun buying a new CD key or finding a way to get around the requirement of having the game.
