    30+ Hours without sleep

    So I woke up yesterday at 11AM and haven't slept since then. I slept like 2 hours from 8PM to 10PM and then woke up, and have stayed up all night and all day long. 6 PM right now and I am starting to hallucinate and have hearing problems. Feels like if I had drank some booze. I wanna make it til 8PM to be able to sleep until 9-10AM to regulate my sleeping hours. Any suggestions?

    You're not hallucinating. Real hallucinations start at day three. You're have hypnagogic hallucinations. It's the slightly delirious feeling you get right before and after you sleep. I've had insomnia for a few years now, and let me tell you, get your ass to bed. You can develop insomnia by just choosing not to sleep. It makes you feel confused after the third day (not full blown hallucination status but it starts), you feel weaker, you'll get headaches from all that caffeine as well. It's not fun man.

    To be honest I started smoking Nug. It helped me sleep like no other sleeping medication. Hell, Ambien didn't do shit for me, I took two and tripped my titties off from it, didn't expect it either.

    Try meditation too, It helps you reach the third REM stage quicker so you don't need as much sleep. That's what I do when I have work. Insomnia sucks.

    smoking definitely helps you sleep more
    but be aware that's there's also the quality of sleep that is involved when i had my insomnia my worst streak was like 80 something hours in
    but it wasn't all no sleep is was about every couple hours i would just sort of pass out for like 10 minutes...
    there's also a chance that you might of developed a sleep apnea (like my dad) who consistently woke up when he stopped breathing in his sleep...so he kinda trained himself to stop sleeping before he found some medication.
