This is the best upcoming artist in my opinion. I know most of you guys in the general section don't like this kind of music, but I think you should give him a chance. He's only 14, but he speaks the truth. If you don't like this song listen to some other songs by him.

Most of the best music did, but there are still great musicians around. Even after 2000: what about the new Bruce Springsteen album? A lot of Tom Waits' albums? Modern Classical music like Ludovico Einaudi?

To be honest I wasn't expecting someone else to be on here who enjoys real music. All I see out of music threads on MPGH are rap and dubstep (god help us all).

I agree with you, there are still good artists out there, but they're being phased out with all of this new age crap. I mean Cartoon Network played Downlink (who I do like but do NOT WANT CN PLAYING DUBSTEP) on their hall of game awards. I walked into my friends kids room and see him doing the robot with Shaq, it's so disgusting because dubstep is tripping music, and it's the mainstream popular music.


To be honest, I think something bad is going to happen to dubstep soon, because you have all of these kids who have never taken a hard drug before in their life going to Borgore, Downlink, Excision, and Datsik shows (I don't give a fuck about many other artists because they sound like my dick rubbing against a cheese grader) where you can get LSD and Meth Bombs for free (Shambhala '11 I got probably over 800$ worth of drugs for free) and they're gonna take that shit and probably bug the fuck out. I'm waiting for a Dub show to end with kids stuck in a perma-trip. That'll shut the mainstream bullshit down.

I do enjoy real music. Look in the entertainment section, I made a thread today called "Daddy Whale".

Anyways, I think we need the exact opposite of what you say.
In my opinion, the worst genre around is indie. I don't care much about hiphop, they leave us alone. I don't care much about dubstep, they leave us alone. I don't care much about pop, they leave us alone.
I care about indie, they call themself 'rock', they attack me like that.
Indie ******s aren't controlled by record labels, they do everything on their own. That may be the problem.
