As far as classic war movies are concerned you have Saving Private Ryan for WWII, Black Hawk Down for Conflict Wars, and perhaps The Hurt Locker for Afghani/Terrorism War. As far proper good war movies are concerned they are the only movies that spring to mind.

As far as classic war movies are concerned you have Saving Private Ryan for WWII, Black Hawk Down for Conflict Wars, and perhaps The Hurt Locker for Afghani/Terrorism War. As far proper good war movies are concerned they are the only movies that spring to mind.

Don't forget Full Metal Jacket and Platoon. They are classics.
