I've noticed a recent rise in viruses disguised as hacks, so here are a couple things to ask yourself before downloading and running a program.

1) The Posters reputation.
Look at the users post count. Users with low post counts tend to be frauds, well more like 99.99% of them.

Look at his/her spelling, grammar, etc... Do you really thing someone who can't spell on an average level can really code a fully functional hack?



2) The hack
Most frauds tend to use outrageous hacks to catch your attention. Do you really think they will discover a new hack before Dave, or any other site's coders? They are the best at what they do, I doubt 'TheHackMaker' will discover some super duper one hit kill hack.



3) File Size
Take a look at the file size. Most Vip hacks don't even surpass a megabyte (mb). If the file size is 15mb, ask yourself if it's really worth the risk.



4) Virus Scans
Not 100% of viruses are going to get picked up by Anti-Virus. Nothing is perfect. Don't rely on a virus scan.



5) Be patient
Wait for a couple people to reply. Maybe someone will be the dumb ass before you. Instead of putting your own computer at risk, wait for someone else.

As you can see in the example above. The user, with 4 posts, states that he has created a temporary public hack. If "SuperGun" doesn't sound suspicious enough, the file size was 15mb.

Conclusion:
Just use your common sense, it was given to you for a reason.
Combat Arms is just a game.
Viruses are serious.You can put anyone who uses your computer at risk, just because you wanted to get an advantage on someone in a game.

I guarantee you won't be owning anyone when your living on the street because your moms bank account got keylogged.

I downloaded the public one, filled out my username/pw, popped it in the combat arms folder, yet saw no text on the bottom right hand corner, nor does hitting "delete" work for making the menu appear, as it read in the instructions. Currently running on vista.

I agree. There are alot of things out there claiming they have the "best", but when you download you get backdoor viruses, keyloggers, the like. I believe that if people weren't stupid anymore, that the world would be a whole lot better (aka the ******s that take the time to build a virus and implant it into something so cordial).... But meh, I guess we could just sit and wait till those little punks get shot and killed eh?

I love it, that is the best post i have ever seen, finally some one was able to put it in perspective for all the idiots that down load the virus and then cry about it in the another post, moron your doing the same thing, threads we don't need and for the most part can live without

Well ive used windows rar to extract the files in my combat arms folder and wen wrote my name and pass in like said i turned on game and the website came up but my combat arms hacks didnt work.

I do agree with you, but don't tell the opinions of scared little choobs effect your desicion to download a hack that very well might work and they were just too scared to try it.
