Seriously does anyone realize how many series these books ripoff?

First off, this series rips off battle royal itself.
Secondly its been done a lot. Gamer, death race, hell fuckin Tron for christ sakes. Not to mention the bajillion anime/manga on it(from my end). I mean.......

Really? This series is seemingly popular, so i'm just wondering if this is gonna turn into the next twilight. Its nothing special and obviously ripped off enough series in advance that to me, its like making another Matrix and calling it "the computer games" or some bullshit.
