    OpenGL

    Isn't on my laptop
    I had Vista on my laptop. Minecraft ran fine.
    I switched to XP and now minecraft says I don't have Advance GL or something

    I've searched for a download but I can't find one that will work
    Dell Inspiron 6400 Windows Xp pro
    Mobile 945 chipset or w/e as my onboard Graphics.

    No experience with Minecraft at all, no idea what Open GL / Advanced GL would be either

    How about re-installing / updating your drivers, and perhaps re-installing Minecraft?
