Yes AVGN, because I don't work 50+ hours a week and also go to school...
That's fine that you have your opinions and what not, but there is no need to debate me in that fashion.
I don't think you understood much of my post, because you seem to be just snapping out for no reason.
If I thought Capitalism can continue to work for this country I would still be all about it.
But unfortunately the working class is being faded out and replaced.
If the situation continues to worsen over the years you will be faced with three options.
Corrupt Capitalism. (present)
Socialism
Anarchism.
As much as I would like to stay a pure Capitalist nation, I just really don't see the level of corruption going away anytime soon.
Also, the deliberate deflation of the USD is happening for a reason..so hate to tell you but even the most dedicated Capitalist might have a change of heart somewhere down the road.
I'm not completely 100% sold on socialism, but I'd rather embrace that opposed to corrupt Capitalism that's for sure.
What is true, however, is that Socialism stifles ambition. That's the reality of the deal.
God is great, beer is good, and people are crazy.

Not really. It's not like the brilliant minds and hard workers of the world would just lay down.
Obviously if the whole country started to fall apart and industry as a whole pulled an epic fail,
it's not like we couldn't revert back.
If anything it would give more people the opportunity to get an adequate education,
which in turn would boost technological growth.
As it is we are all slaves to money. A piece of paper.
I'm sure you know a few people in your life that are struggling over it.
It's rather depressing, when you think that the majority of people on this earth are all after one thing so truly pointless.
It grips some so strongly that they feel the need to kill people over it.
There are other things we can be doing, one would be working together to improve the planet.
America has more than enough natural resources to sustain us for many ,many years
Yet the big issue is money. Finding the funds to safely mine.
Well we have the means, the manpower, and technology to do so..
Let's look at crime. Sure it wouldn't be eradicated, but I'm sure if everyone was on an even keel,
you would see a drastic decline in it. Either way, it doesn't matter what we believe would or wouldn't work economically speaking,
The one thing we could agree on I am sure, is that we can't keep going down this same road and think anything good will come of it.
Pure capitalism can only work for so long. Corruption takes hold, from the poor to the obscenely rich.
Pure socialism will never work. There will be no innovation.
What needs to be found is a balance between the two.
Also, we aren't in a pure capitalistic society. We have a free school system, fire departments, free clinics, homeless shelters, etc.
There are many different ideas or systems of how an economy should be run. The two most common are capitalism and socialism. They are very different in how they view who runs the economy. Most economies have ideas from both systems, but tend to be more of one than the other.
Capitalism is the economic system based on private or corporate ownership of, production and distribution of goods. It has always existed to some extent in all civilizations but was written about formally by Adam Smith in his book "The Wealth of Nations" in 1776. Capitalists favor a system of free enterprise which means the government should not interfere in the economy - that the laws of supply and demand will make sure that the ecnomy runs most efficiently in meeting people's needs. Capitalism is characterized by competition in which there is rivalry in supplying or getting an economic service or good. Sellers compete with other sellers, and buyers with other buyers. The buyers seek the best possible deal in purchasing goods and the sellers look to make the best possible sale allowing them the most profit.
Socialism is an economic theory or idea that states that the government or the state should be in charge of economic planning, production and distribution of goods. This contrasts with capitalism where free markets predonimate and property is privately owned. Socielism tends to favor cooperation whereas capitalism is characterized by competition.
The theories of socialism first arose in the late eighteenth century in response to the Industrial Revolution where factory owners were becoming wealthy and the workers impoverished. Thus, workers wanted a greater share in the wealth that factories were making. Later a form of socialism called communism sprang up based on the writings of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. Communism advocates class struggle and revolution to establish a society of cooperation with strong government control. Communism predominated in the former Soviet Union and much of Eastern Europe at one time. Today it predominates in China and Cuba, but its influence has lessened.
