Damn, that mobo has a weird shape. Most mobos I've seen have a rectangle shape. This is more square then the ones I've seen.

Yes it should... When the z77 boards gets 2 PCI-E 3.0 X16 Slots (Both runing @ x16) I'll think about upgrading in 2013...

Yeah if I was up earlier I would of said that the Sniper 3 has 2 16X PCI-E 3 slots. The new chip for multi 16x lanes is PLX8747 and not the NF200.

If you don't mind spending money on the newer tech go for it... myself I would go with sandy bridge. If you know where to shop you can get a pretty good deal on a sandy bridge and it will have around the same power as the newer shit.

Yeah but I've decided to save and go for a 3770K. Just saw a stable OC to 100% (although it was using NO2). Now just gotta decide which board to go for. Toss up between Sniper 3, Z77-V Deluxe, or go with an older Maximus Extreme-Z that still has a NF200 and internal USB3 headers.

Yes the i7-3770k 3.5Ghz would run great at 4.4Ghz/4.8Ghz or even 5.2Ghz... But seeing that it is faster and O.C @ 4.4GHz-4.8Ghz is all i would need for gaming... The new Gen3 PLX 8747 Chips would allow 4 PCI-E 3.0 slots to run @ x16 on all 4 lanes...

Well you don't need a Hex Core for Gaming... Yes LGA 2011 is new and works great with the i7-3930k for Video Editing/Converting/Encoding Etc...
