    You're retarded Ecstasy.
Why waste money on a socket 1366?

For a gaming computer for BF3.
AMD Phenom II X4 965 processor.
Graphics card: AMD Radeon 6870/6950/7850/7870. (These are reference cards, they're built by other manufacturers but they will still have those numbers as models.)
    Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 Motherboard
CZ ModXStream Pro 600W Modular power supply.
    And some G.SKILL 8GB DDR3 RAM.
CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler
Crucial M4 64GB SSD if you could afford to have one, not necessary.
    Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB HDD.
Choose your own case, I don't know what you like.

I was trying to get the cheapest build possible.
I know many people on MPGH that ask for builds don't really have a big budget.

I kinda doubt the reference 6870 / 6950 could handle 60+ fps, even on average. I would personally recommend something similar, with either an unlocked 6950 2GB or a newer 7870 / 79X0 card

I'm sure it would hover quite close to 60 FPS with all AA and VSYNC off. And it's only high. But yeah might as well jump onto the new 7000 series.

I lol'd, I manage 60 easily on normal settings, with a little dip on high settings.

The min I would do is 720p (with the UI at native res or gtfo - this is one epic feature I love from UE; it can actually render the game at a different res and scale it up, while keeping the UI at the proper res), I can't live without AA and AF, I never use vsync (the slight tearing I might get > the lag you can get) and if it's under 30 fps it's unplayable. Seriously, 30 fps is the bare minimum, 60+ is desired for shooters =/

Yes to processcor, yes to GFX card, yes to mobo, @ PSU, -ish @ RAM, i reckon you'd only need 4GB imo... no to CPU cooler, unless you overclock... -ish to ssd, yes to HDD but you can get a Caviar Black , From reading ~ Antec 300 and bitfenix shinobi are the best cases for the money...
