I believe in God just since I can't imagine anything other than some omnipotent being. Considering time is linear that would mean that gases and everything have ALWAYS existed. Like the Big Bang Theory, what came before all of that? Implying that everything has always existed makes no sense to me. Whatever the original thing to exist was, it must have had a beginning. It couldn't have just be created on its own without some "help". For example's sake, let's say hydrogen was the first thing to EVER exist. What made it? If NOTHING existed before it, how did it suddenly just pop into being? And yes I understand you could make the argument, "What created God then?" But since God is omnipotent, well that kind of explains itself. I'm not saying the Christian God is the actual being that created everything, I just follow it since it is more realistic then any other religion.

It took me a long-ass time to come to that conclusion, though it is the best I have to offer for the reasoning behind a God.

Well water and gravity are everywhere in the universe. As long as there is hydrogen and oxygen, water can be present. But yea, where did that stuff originate from? Not like anyone will be able to answer that anytime soon

Brooo, water exists on other planets. Not just Earth. And our Sun has enough gravitational pull to keep us where we are in relation to it. Everything has gravity.

Also, gravity doesn't work like that. It only seems normal because we're so used to it. Let's say you grew up on the moon, perhaps. The moon's gravity is 0.1655 x Earth's gravity. Well if you lived on the moon, Earth's gravity would be much heavier (about 6.5 times heavier, since 60.5 lbs on Earth is 10 lbs on the moon). Get where I'm going with this?

Anyway, I'm Deist master race, so I believe that (whatever higher power exists) created gravity, and said "lolk".
If you know anything about this shit, the big bang was most likely caused by gravity fucking itself in the ass (actual quote by Stephen Hawking).
