It works but it's not auto updating, it might be due to recent tehnic launcher updates, any one got a solution?

I don't know if anyone here will know the answer but I figure it won't hurt to ask.

I noticed in the options it doesn't have anything larger than 1 GB to allocate to memory. I have 8GB of RAM and 64 Bit Win7.

When I checked the launcher_0 log file in .techniclauncher\logs it read "Is 64-bit: 'false'".

How can I change this to true?

EDIT:
Also some of the mods don't work. It's like half and half almost. I think it may be because they're up to date but minecraft is not. (Could be wrong, I'm just guessing) If we have a 1.2.5 jar can we replace the ones in the packs without screwing anything up?

I'd also like to know if you could explain how/what you did to make this work-around possible so that we could attempt doing it to newer distributions/updates ourselves without coming here to see if you updated your download or something.

EDIT 2:
Found out that some of the mods didn't release til 1.2.3 and 1.2.4 but the tekkit and technic packs have 1.1

help, how can i install that? i have a cracked version of minecraft, and if i try with that it don't work, when i log in it say user not premium, where can i download a legit .minecraft files? ((((

i did it, i just updated the .minecraft, i tryed to log with my account and..... USER NOT PREMIUM.
