I am having problems with this hack.
Every 2-3 Games, after the game the whole window of MW3 just goes flashing Black.
Why is this?

Whit what are you trying to open the file? It is just a text file, use notepad.

This is because the overlay's original window color is black, there's no possible way that it would turn black again if it is already working, the only thing I can think of is that Aero stopped working, I'll see what I can do in the next update.

Please elaborate, what do you mean your game keeps freezing? Is there a specific moment when it freezes and is it random?

I think you just opened the Archive file (the .RAR) within Windows and clicked.
What you need to do is to EXTRACT the files from the Archive to a folder (or to your Desktop).
You will then be able to open the file config.mw3esp with Notepad (as mentioned before)
NB: you have to launch the .exe (the hack) from there too !!

There was one for MW2 but it's patched now

Enabling Aero on Windows Vista Home Basic:
This is just one of the many loopholes that Microsoft has let slip into Windows Vista. In order to enable Windows Aero in Vista Home Basic, enter "regedit" in the Search Box of the Start Menu. Enabling the Aero interface requires a registry hack, so be sure to backup the registry before you continue.

Make your way to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Microsoft > Windows > DWM registry key. Composition and Composition Policy are the two registry keys inside the DWM directory that you will need to edit. Set Composition to 1 and Composition Policy to 2.
