Synthetic = man made materials (probably some sort of rubber/plastic), leather (if it is 100% real) is from an animal...

Different materials resist dirt, water, wear and tear differently. For soccer, you should probably ask sm1 who plays that sport. I'd read reviews on it before asking anyone, and prob try them on in store before hand.

I would go with the synthetic ones since they should be tougher and more resistant then real leather, but i might be wrong, my knowledge about leather ect is not very great.

Leather is obviously better than synthetic.
When I still played soccer I had leather ones too, they were quite a bit more expensive that those cheap-ass synthetic ones too.

The only 'con' about having leather soccer shoes is that you have to smear/grease them from time to time, else the leather will dry out.

Leather is generally accepted to be "better", and in terms of football (no, I won't call it soccer just because Americans do) there isn't much difference between the handling in comparison to synthetic stuff. However you will find that leather footwear generally tends to be far more comfortable, as leather does get worn in and kind of shapes itself to your foot, as well as the fact that leather tends to give one a better "touch" or feeling, some people go as far as to claim that leather lets you pull off better shots solely because of this (though proper synthetic shoes nowadays aren't much different). Sadly leather does have a bad side, and that's durability. They most definitely won't last as long as synthetic shoes, though if you tend to them right, they'll most likely survive a hella long time. PS: get some anti-water spray or w/e to prevent them from completely soaking your feet if you're playing in a wet field.

    tl;dr imo get leather

    No problem.
Just saw the shoes found in the third link are Rugby shoes too, right?

I would just get the classic Adidas soccer shoes, black/white in leather.
