    Does anyone know how to fix this issue (Error:Patch_mp.ff is different from the server). I have a russian cd key.

    I guess you just can got to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\call of duty modern warfare 2\zone\english and delete patch_mp.ff.

    I think the game will download it again, if it doesn't, verify the game cache through Steam library.

    You dont have to delete it, just verify game cache.
