Whats the difference between EAST and WEST?

I Always wondered cause I Live and Play on East and Want to move to West. But apparently it will lag you alot and shit? Is this true? Would it be bad to go over to the WEST server since I live on east?

I dont think so, as far as i know is Nico from Germany and he plays on West aswell.

If your computer can handle it, sure. Just note that you have different characters on the two servers, so if you have five lvl 70s on EAST, you'll still have to start over on WEST server.
