Background looks sick, but not liking the sprite. Should've used a bigger and more vibrant sprite.

I have shit tons of sprites but most of my folders contain sprites of about this size or smaller.
I have a couple folders of larger ones but they're shit. The Megaman ones I have would be decent if the poses were less stationary I guess.

I didn't save .psd. I usually don't if it's not something I plan on going back to, or for competition.

remove the sprite and leave it be is what I would do
Im sure youd be able to put some good typographic text in there as a replacement
