That is what I personally believe. Even though we have no proof of the rape, the syphilis is a definite based on the symptoms, and his condition grew worse throughout the years, leading me to believe he had the syphilis for several years before he finally passed (or did he?).

Didn't have to, but they were electives. Guess the teacher wasn't as bright as he thought he was...

Classes on WWII never give you the full picture. It was the same thing in my Ap History classes when I was in High School. There's a lot more to it that is very interesting, definitely worth researching if you're into it.

Oh yeah, definitely. History is written by the victor, and I know there are a LOT of things left out that a LOT of people probably don't know, because it was covered up by the allies, and blamed on the Nazi's. Ex: The Allies committed the same slaughter of prisoners that the German's did. We lined up German troops (even the children in Berlin, who were in the age range from 8-17, which were the LAST defending force) and mowed them down.
