I know the Zimmmermann note. However that's not what I was referring to. The Nazi's tried to recruit Mexico again, to attack America from another front, but Mexico declined. Therefore, that is why Germany hit 3 oil rigs of Mexico's which actually put Mexico in the war against Nazi Germany.

Do you know why we succeeded on D-Day? Hitler was sleeping. He had one HELL of a force waiting to stop us just some miles from the coast. Why didn't they engage us? Hitler said not to attack unless given the order. Nobody wanted to wake him up. That's why we won D-Day, and, well pretty much the whole war. Anyways, Hitler started going insane, and nobody dared try to stop him, for fear of execution. His officers piped up every now and again trying to persuade him of a different action, but he would just shout in their face something to the effect of "DO YOU KNOW WHO THE F*CK I AM?!" so, that didn't really work. But my main point here ( I think I lost it in this jumbled up mess lol) is that if the DAP, and National Socialism can pull Germany out of one of the GREATEST depressions any country has EVER gone through, AND make the most technologically advanced army (the LuftWaffe and the Kriegsmarine rivaled both the RAF and the Royal Navy) why can it not work? It just takes the proper leadership to do so.

I was thinking about only giving welfare to those who have contributed to society (military, law enforcement, etc.) and those who still have the potential to contribute but are currently unable (mainly children)

I'm German, and am extremely proud to be so as the Germans have the greatest minds in the world. Even so, it can not be attributed to the Nationalist Socialist party, Hitler did not follow most of the original ideals when he came to be the Fuhrer. The Nationalist Socialist party was far right socialism, hell they even wanted to bring back the original Monarchy of Germany simply so they could potentially dictate their ideals, however Hitler was against all of this himself.

It's the same idea as how the original Nazi party was completely anti-semetic, whilst Hitler was not. Hitler simply used the Volkish ideals that were being widespread at the time to use the Jews as the scapegoat for Germany's economy being in a state of dis-array. That coupled with his success at taking over the Czechs gave the German people the rise to support him. In turn he put Germans leading scientists to work coming up with great ideas. It was not Socialism that did all of this, it was one man running through his quest to bring up his country. He could of cared less about the actually political party itself, the only reason he betrayed the Germans as a spy was because he found a way to give his life meaning, and that was for his country. If he was a die-hard socialist and followed every ideal of the Nazi party verbatim at the time, he would have never been able to push for as long as he did during WWII.

His mother had cancer and her doctor with Hitlers permission tested a medication on her that killed her. The doctor was Jewish, but Hitler let him escape from the country when he took power because he respected the doctor. Hitler was becoming ill from Siphilis, a degenerative disease that is contagious through sexual intercourse, and slowly causes the brains cells to die off, which is what ACTUALLY caused him to become insane. His mannerisms and behaviors in the end were all symptoms from this. It is widely believed Hitler was actually raped at one point of his life (most likely when he was homeless), as he had an intense fear of women.

You are making many speculations that only ONE mistake was made on Hitler's side during D-Day.

First of all, even if he did give the order, his ENTIRE counter-attacking division was placed Pas de Calais, much too far for them to reach Normandy in any amount of time needed. Rommel didn't fly, and as such the Germans had no air reconnaissance to indicate where the Alliance was air dropping, allowing the Resistance groups to cut the telephone wires killing all methods of communication to the other divisions. Lastly, Hitler continued to target London, which had no military effect on the Allied forces hitting Normandy, even so his V-1's were only able to demolish a single bridge, the rest all crashed or went missing. He was too eager to attack, and in such threw prototypes out in an offensive against the wrong target.

Also, those parties did NOT pull Germany out of the depression. It was the Treaty of Versailles that put them in that depression, and after WWII we helped Germany rebuild it's country. All of its assets were depleted, the majority of the war Germany was borrowing money from other countries. 25% of Germany's pre-Anschluss territory was given to Poland and the Soviets. The Soviets and the Western Allies forced their German POW's into forced labor in an attempt to make Germany an agricultural state. They completely dismantled hundreds of thousands of factories, killing thousands of Germans in the process. The U.S. stole ALL of the German Patents in technology created in Germany during WWII. Under the U.S.'s word, Western Berlin took up the Deutsch Mark as the new form of currency, allowing economic rest. Western Germany was given 1.4 billion dollars in loans to rebuild.
