Run Vindictus in DirectX 6 and DirectX 7 for CPU Conservation

You can run Vindictus in DirectX 6 and DirectX 7 to conserve CPU usage. It's perfect for VMware users that are experiencing lag. Thanks to @Listerine for making the original find.

    Easy Method
    1. Replace the attached .txt file in the Vindictus bin folder (C:\Nexon\Vindictus\en-US\bin).

    Manual
    1. Just place
    Code:
    -dxlevel 60
    or
    Code:
    -dxlevel 70
at the end of shortcut to Vindictus.exe to enable DirectX 6 or DirectX 7.

    It should look like this:

    2. Launch Vindictus through the shortcut, and go to options, turn off Vignette, and press OK. Relaunch the game with the prompt, do not click No.

    3. Everything done, less CPU intensive Vindictus.

All models disappear, but has no affect on the game. Other than making it faster.

Lowest dxlevel on Vindictus is 80 anyways. Thats why 60 and 70 are bugged.

i wish they would have higher dx levels such as 10 and 11 but sadly source doesnt yet support that.
