Its probably because I had just woken up, but I cried for about 10 minutes at the end :/
The last episode was just super emotional & depressing.

Although my favorite episode would probably have to be:

 

The episode when SSS had to sabotage Tenshi's test. But when they needed to cause a distraction and failed oh-so-hard. They were launched into the ceiling. Probably because it was 5 A.M. and i was dead-beat tired and I just needed a good laugh. But i think that was the funniest part of the series.

I think, and this is just my opinion:


If they didn't blatantly copy haruhi(character designs) and lost(yeah.....smoke monsters/plot......at the time of lost on-air......), it would have been a LOT more popular.

I believe that at the time, people who watched both haruhi and lost realized the blatant copy.

Still a great series in all areas(even animation? WOOT), even plot(hell most of the people's stories were hella fun to watch). But having a purple haruhi, and smoke monsters in that plot really killed some of its originality.

Not trying to be mean or anything but "hella fun to watch" and they were actually pretty sad is kinda disturbing :I

Yeah, the differences aren't really that big, when in a general sense it's haruhi with purple hair for art and character attitude. It's not JUST haruhi, a lot of the other characters that I noticed. Kyon as the main again, nagato as tenshi.


As far as the angel beats is to be summarized: it's an anime with lost's plot and haruhi character design.

I loved the show, but I have to admit it takes
Heavily from other shows.

Apparently there is a season 2 coming out soon. Dunno hows its gonna work since they are all gone. I remember reading it in some forum site back in 2011 or 2010, but i highly doubt it as it has been really long and they would just fuck up the story if they did.

There is no season 2 planned. Thats it. There was an "ova" if you will, but its more for comedy than for anything else. (and its outside of the shows timeline).

It doesn't NEED a season 2, and should not have one. The story almost completely closed and doesn't need another season.

A good anime is one that ends when it should.
