The PROPER way to fix msvcr100.dll, msvcr100d.dll or d3dx9_*.dll errors.

ok i hvae installed both of them before doing that i deleted the dll file which i had placed in Ca folder now there is no MSVCR100.dll in Ca Folder Although i have installed both the swoftwere you listed And im still getting the same error i checked the system32 folder and the msvcr100.dll file was there do i have to copy that file and paste it in ca folder cuz if thats the case then i have already tried that and didnt work plz help me its really getting annoying :S

Im not actually trying to ruin your topic or something, but I had this error too and all these didn't work. I downloaded the DLL files.. didn't work. Then I noticed PiKaMucha's hack topic here and I thought that the MSVC would fix it. I downloaded the Microsoft Visual C++ package for my windows and it still wasn't working, I kept getting that error message with Bad Windows Image or something like that. Then I noticed on a website that the msvcr100.dll has to have exactly 752KB,and the ones we find on internet usually have 800+KBs. I looked at the one I had downloaded before and it had 800+ KBs... but fortunately I found another msvcr100.dll in my Firefox folder which had 752KB. I put it in my system32 folder and suddenly everything worked.

To be short.. for the ones who have Windows XP the Microsoft Visual C++ might not work, but I uploaded here the .dll files that work for me.
(Windows XP Pro, SP2)

A week of searching for a solution. i fken tried everything... i deleted everything and redownloaded, tried to repair everything... but nothing seemed to work. i fix 1 prob. but get another. and i finally read what u have to say and everything seems to work now. The installation I linked to installs msvcr100.dll from inside a .cab file with a similar file size (756KB).



Comparing the versions between the one included in the installation and your rar archive shows that your one is slightly outdated, possibly because it's not SP1 of the Visual Studio 2010 C++ Redistributable.

Hey i'm getting the MSVCP100.dll is missing error. I uninstalled combat arms and then installed both 32 and 64 c++ things you said and i still cant get it to work. Its still saying im missing the file. Any ideas?
