you cant combine, they both have to be the same frequency e.g 1333

Ram corsair
Hi I'm upgrading my computer with some more ram so I was wondering if you can combine my old cheap 1333 MHz 2 gb x2 memory sticks with two 1600 mhz 4 gb sticks from corsair? Otherwise I will have to buy more ram

Actually you can, but you will most likely have to change the clocks and timings to that of the worse ram.
