Dedicated PC team and PC version build up from ground.

Treyarch’s Director of Technology Cesar Stastny has confirmed on his twitter that Black Ops 2 has a dedicated PC team and that the PC version is being build up from ground:

-”[Black Ops 2].. developed by a dedicated PC team simultaneously with the other platforms.”
-”BO2 built from the ground up to catch cheaters”
-”Ability to detect and ban based on lessons learned on Black Ops.”

I guess this is good for the regular PC players, but it's gonna suck for hackers. :/

Not because it will be harder to cheat but because it should run better being built from the ground up rather than being ported over from the console versions.

What do they actually mean with "built from the ground"? Like deleting all old unused stuff from Black Ops and adding all new things... And why only built the PC version up from the ground why not the console versions?

I guess they start from the ground and code a version of the game only for PC instead of porting it from console like all other CoD's

I play on the PC to hack or to play SP games i don't bother buying.
