Simple as that. I also read the forum post in the link you provided. There is a link to the steam forums that shows the FoV as white listed but ONLY with the approved file provided by Xifon (The maker of the Mw3SA and Reporting Tool) which tells me that any other form of FoV is still a high risk since there is probably some workaround for how his program is changing the FoV compared to yours or others provided. We can flame about this all we want but it is like you said, use at your own risk.

4-) TO change the FoV, just set the value you want and play as always... KEEP THE HACK OPEN, else it will reset the FoV.

Writing to the fallback values once vs constantly checking and rewriting the main one..

For those of you with the missing head's up display,
Go into Steam>Right click on Mw3 Multiplayer> Proprieties>Local Files tab>verify integrity of game cache.

Check all your offsets, they might change the configs or so.

/Added new Virus Scans

I've Changed all the Offsets from name faker.. May have fixed the HUD bug.. Don't know for sure, cause I have never had this problem.. If it persists, please let me know.
