The only reason there is a limit on how old you have to be is because there are too many stupid people out there that don't have any common sense and even after 18+ some people havn't matured enough to learn the common rules of driving.

when you turn 16 you get your g1, this means you can drive only during the day, and not on highways..and you need someone with their full license in the car with you. the test is written.

if you took lessons, you can get your g2 8 months (and 25 hours of practical lessons) later, but if you didnt, its 12 months. g2 means that you can drive on highways and at night, but with someone with their full license in the car. the test is written and a little practical..i think

12 months later (i think), you can get your g, your full license.
