How can you tell if someone chams?

Not like prefire or making it look obvious. I want to know if there is a side effect to chamming just like instant respawn has grey name.

This happened to me one time. I was chamming and I was waiting around a corner for a guy to walk around. But he wouldn't walk around it, because he was chamming too and he knew that I was there. So I guess chams are and effective way to catch chams.

if someone blames you for using chams it means that you made it obvious . :/

Only way to tell if someone chamms is if they tell you, if they pre-fire, or if they're waiting for you to come around a corner.
