Based on these stats it seems the HTC wins by a very small amount, but I've heard more people say good things about the Galaxy, so I don't know. :S
I'd go with the galaxy myself, don't know why.

They are very similar, but after looking in stores and trying bots OS'es, Samsungs seem better. HTC's is a somewhat weird version of Android to me.
The lines in my Steam are i's

I have the Galaxy S. It's fucking amazing. If it's off and locked next to you while you're driving you can say "Hi Galaxy, send text to "bob" that says "on my way, be there in fifteen minutes" and it will send the message and then relock itself without you touching it.
It's fucking fast. HTC has been notorious for their phones slowing down as more apps are opened, but the Galaxy never seems to slow down, plus it has built in task manager, battery life savery, widgets AND apps, and you can share any of your shit with people who also have Galaxy's.

HTC One X > Samsung Galaxy S3:
- Polycarbonate body
- Somewhat cheaper
- Better photo's in the dark
Samsung Galaxy S3 > HTC One X:
- Superior screen: overall better
- Higher scores in Benchmark test
- Better photos (if during daytime), video recording is better too
- Battery time is higher
- Better sound (both speaker and headphones)

S3 touches the One X in bad places. It's that much more awesome. Also sound doesn't matter so long as you have good iems or something
I'm Alen on Steam. RIP Skype Friday nights.
I'm Navi's lover 💖

galaxy!!! looks sexier and performs better.
I have the Galaxy SIII.
I like TouchWiz over HTC's SenseUI.
Plus Exynos>Tegra 3.
If you're gonna get 4G they're both gonna run Snapdragon S4's.
But GSIII>HOX
