    c++ packet updating...

    I'm looking to make a simple server but i'm trying to think of a way to update packets via some method. This would make it so people can update the srever themselves without needing the source code to the server.

    Say lua script that holds all opcodes and data information?

    Then parse the lua script into the c++ (.exe).

    say XML script that holds all opcodes and data information


    what suggestions would you guys have to say build something like this?
