Second of all, did you read the post called "WPE Pro for beginners" in the tutorials section?
Now on to the questions, I suppose...
Finding out what packets to send with WPE Pro can sometimes be hard, but basically you take a sample of packets without doing an action, then take a sample of packets while doing an action, and see what packets are in the second that aren't in the first.
If a game prevents WPE Pro, you try and bypass the protection, or you use something like ethereal that detects all outgoing traffick and make a program of your own to send packets (the first method is much easier).
If you know what packet you want to send, just add it to the send list, choose your socket ID, and start sending. So yes, you send the hex code, but it's easier to think in terms of whole packets when sending them.
