I have an Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. Choosing out of those two is very complicated.

On PC, you can just torrent for games that you have to pay for, but getting a good build with really good gaming specs on a computer will cost you a lot. On the other hand, you will have to pay for all the games you purchase for the console, but you won't need to upgrade any parts of the console and spend money that costs more than a console on a graphics card for a PC.

Overall, i'd say get a console .

I clearly indicated that an up to date gaming rig would shit on any modern console. I could build myself a brand new $1000 gaming rig, and buy a brand new Xbox360. The xbox will have the same exact essential hardware as it's 1st generation counterpart. The PC will have the latest technology. The brand new xbox is fucking old.

The only reason I'd understand choosing a 360 over a gaming pc if price was an issue. And to be honest, after miscrosoft is done ripping you off with overpriced games and expansion packs, and overpriced xbox live, there isn't much left to gain.

If my $1000 pc is having lag issues but your Xbox doesn't on the same graphic settings, then the hardware isn't the problem. A shitty connection, a shitty server, or high ping is to blame. Next argument.
