Custom Callsigns and Emblems

First of all, this is Prototypes tutorial from the old aIW days. I saved the page before aIW went down.
The tools for this can be found at the bottom of this post.




















There are a couple of things...

1. At the CRC fixer part, be sure to paste the LOCATION of the file, not the actual PATH. (i.e. "C:\users\Admin\Desktop" Instead of "C:\users\Admin\Desktop\random.iwi" )

I recognize that font. Don't remember the name, but it's the same one used for Realm of The Mad God's logo.

Anyway, I approved the tools. Use them at your own risk though, considering they do violate MPGH policy but I usually try to be a little lenient when it comes to popular pieces of software.

Im having the same problem as tz_king0321. It looks distorted like that or the file size for the callsigns/titles is a lot smaller than the original no matter how I save it. Any ideas on what to do?

I got this to work on certain emblems. If anyone wants me to make them some just send me a message and I will do it for you. Or give me a bunch to do and I will make a emblem pack out of it.

Sorry to bring up an old post but a few of the images are missing from the tutorial and I have gone wrong somewhere. Since the images are missing from the tut I decided to just change it as I would do a custom camo though the file sizes of the edited IWI/DDS's are different to the originals. I believe it is to do with the save format I am using though I have tried DXT1, DXT3, DXT5 and DXT5_NM with no success. Is there anything you do differently in this tutorial compared to custom camo tutorials? Thanks

Photoshop won't open the .DDS file even though I installed the plugin etc. Im using CS6 so is it not compatible? Just says this file is the wrong document.
