GPU is way overpowering the CPU. I'd second the upgrading the PSU and going a step up on the CPU. Unless you have 3x monitors, you're never going to use the GPU to its full potential with that setup. PassMark Intel vs AMD CPU Benchmarks - High End
You can get an i5 that's 3x as fast for an extra $100. Worth it imo.

That processor is more than plenty for gaming needs. Upgrading to an i5 would only yield a miserable 5 -10 fps more. in game.
The real bottleneck here is the gpu. I own a 7770 and can barley play BF3 on ultra at 30fps. In all honesty a 7750 has no place in an $800 gaming system.
I agree with incognito, you are as dumb as a log and I doubt you have any real experience with computers if you think a 7750 is overkill.
A 7750 would pair up nicely with a phenom dual @3.6ghz and 4gb ram in a budget rig.

You could play Vindictus 18 months ago easily on your dual pentium card... definitely not any more if you're hosting. Phenom2 965 with a 4850 (slightly better CPU, slightly worse GPU than his selection) can barely pull 35 fps on Vindictus on max settings 1920x1080. And to a gamer who cringes when 40+% of their resources are being used, a 7750 is "low end", but if you look at the whole spectrum of vid cards, it's mid-high end. Nope. Not even close.7750 might be mid-high end, but I could also say a non-workstation FX5200 is a mid-high end card compared to a VooDoo 2. A 7750 will be more than utilised on a single monitor set up. And so will the FX-4100. Bulldozers might not be the powerhouse AMD was looking for, but when paired with low-mid range GFX cards like a 7750, it's bound to be a match made in heaven. And you're dreaming if you think your 965 BE is better than a 4100 bulldozer (on performance alone).
