Help a New Modder

Heres the problem. I have Extracted GUNS_M_PV_AR and have all the guns in .LTB format. How do i use DTXConvert? I believe im usibng it correctly but when i File>Open folder and i open GUNS_M_PV_AR (extracted) No files appear in the window and clicking "convert to lithtech" it does nothing.

Extract GUNS_T_PV_AR.rez and open a dtx in DTXconvert.
You extracted the wrong file.
