The War Z

As most people know, The War Z has been in development for quite a while. Well, not that long but before DayZ. I know what everyone is thinking and it's that this is gonna be a HUGE ripoff of DayZ, and that's where most people are wrong. DayZ is a zombie survival mod for a game that was never built for a zombie apocalypse, The War Z on the other hand was completely built around the aspect of a zombie apocalypse. What this means is that instead of your average probably 10 zeds on screen at a time, you have up to 50 zeds on screen at a time. I mean, I could be absolutely wrong about everything since it's in Alpha right now and they're still improving everything. I've been hearing tons of information about this game and I've been extremely excited for some gameplay, and I don't know about everyone else but the Alpha gameplay that was released the other day made my week. If anyone wants to talk about this game with me, reply and love me. I've already been on the War Z forums and I thought I'd spread some stuff to anyone who's interested.

Just DayZ seems more fun in my eyes.

It's all based on opinion. I think it'll be pretty successful, I think they already have about 300,000 or more registers for the closed beta. It's looking pretty good even in Alpha state. The one thing that people may not like is the GUI, which kinda carries the mmo feel w/ leveling up. But, it's not like WoW leveling it's more like perks.

I'm sure I will like it more than DayZ. Just the alpha gameplay of WarZ alone made me think it's better than DayZ, and I have played DayZ for a long time. Like the main post says, DayZ is just a mod, and WarZ is going to be the real thing!

I agree. And I like that you can choose either playing a basic zombie game or a hardcore survival. The skill tree seems to be pretty promising as well, it's a mmo but that doesn't mean you'll get magic like everyone thinks, you can basically train your character around real world skills. It seems like a pretty promising game. I know ill drop $30 to play it, and I might for DayZ when the time is right and it has some great features. But, for now I'm looking more forward to The War Z.

I'm going to get this game for sure, I registered for the open Beta a while back.
I do have some issues right out of the gate though after watching some gameplay.

1.The sound packs they are using are horrible. The guns sound like fucking toys.

2. Zombie animation is pretty shitty. Not enough blood, and it would be nice if you could blow some appendages off.

3. The inventory gui is kinda meh. Would have liked to seen it a bit more organized.

Can't really judge much of anything else until I play it..
Which by the way, dev's were saying it would be ready at the end of the summer,
but it's looking more like October if you ask me.

I just bought the game with the Pioneer edition, because i had money. My friends said this game gonna be nice, so i will try it tommorow. Anyway, there is no perfect game, and if i will have fun on it that's enough for me.

This game is utterly crap, the jumping , shooting, movement of the characters , etc... look too much like a cartoon...
Can't take this piece of crap as a serious survival game.
