Nah, I'm not atheist. I'm deist. Meaning I don't follow a religion and don't believe in a personal god. I honestly think he's too dumb and narrow minded to understand that.

Deists do not follow a religion, they do not believe in conforming to religious dogma and demagogy. It is a philosophy that which holds that reason and observation, and not organized religion, can determine whether such a being can exist. Deists believe in an impersonal god, or rather, a god that does not alter the universe by intervening and interfering with ongoing processes. Deists believe in a god that created the universe, and then stepped aside to let it unfold of its own accord. It is the belief that God gave humans the ability to reason, so they can figure out the true nature of the universe, and of God, of their own accord.

My own personal beliefs are slightly different and more agnostic in nature. I don't pretend to understand the nature of God, humans have not reached that level of consciousness/existence yet. The word god itself is so starved and incomplete. As long as we are attached to the concept of God through spoken language, we will never reach an understanding of God. I also recognize the possibility that this could be a Godless universe and is perhaps just a probabilistic unfolding of events triggered by quantum fluctuations (this of course, could possibly be God). We are simply not advanced enough to reach a final conclusion.
